The Outing Program is a partnership with local drug treatment courts. Outings are open to participants to engage in prosocial activities and are designed to support their recovery. Outings are also open to community members who are in recovery or supporters within a participant’s recovery.
The program includes guided activities such as hiking, rock climbing, yoga, and kayaking. Participants can discover strengths and develop new skills, connect with peers in a supportive environment, and identify meaningful avenues for lifelong sober recreation. Our facilitators integrate principles of Adventure-Based Counseling, Peer Recovery Coaching, and Recovery Resilience Workshop to offer a sound evidence-based framework to promote lasting recovery for participants
