Training for Intervention ProcedureS (TIPS) is a FREE training for Warren and Washington County businesses when it is provided by the Council for Prevention. This training is highly regarded by New York State and is a NYS Liquor Authority approved alcohol training awareness program.

Bar, restaurant, brewery, and liquor store employees learn to safely sell and serve alcohol to prevent drunk driving, underage drinking, and alcohol abuse.

Taking advantage of TIPS training brings immediate payback through lowered risk and a safer, more responsible work environment. TIPS certification also provides the benefits of reduced penalties for alcohol violations, minimized exposure to alcohol liability lawsuits, and lower insurance premiums.

Your staff would receive a 3 hour training, access to an exam, and upon passing will be TIPS certified for 3 years.

PLEASE NOTE: The Council for Prevention is ONLY offering in person trainings for Warren County, NY and Washington County, NY businesses at this time.
